The unanimously approved motions refer to the construction of an athletics track in the eastern part of Murcia, creation of a plan to reduce the risk of flooding and water use, a plan to combat illegal landfills, the installation of adapted containers and actions to achieve animal welfare and application of the CES method in the municipality
The motions defended today by Citizens have gone ahead with the consensus of the Plenary.
The unanimously approved initiatives refer to the construction of an athletics track in the eastern part of Murcia and that residents can practice sports on equal terms;
as well as the constitution of a Permanent Water Commission for the creation of a plan to reduce the risk of floods and the use of rainwater.
Both motions presented by the spokesman of the orange formation, Mario Gómez.
Against illegal landfills
The third of the initiatives, by the mayor Carlos Peñafiel, is for the implementation of a municipal plan against illegal dumps and the indiscriminate abandonment of waste.
Adapted containers
The fourth, by Councilwoman Pilar Muñoz, is for the installation of adapted containers in the municipality that can be used by people with disabilities, elderly and those who suffer some type of mobility problems, even if it is punctual.

The last of the motions, defended by the mayor Paqui Pérez, for the adoption of measures to achieve animal welfare and application of the CES method in the municipality of Murcia
Joint
During the plenary session the consensus of all political groups has been reached to carry out an information campaign for foreigners living in Murcia with the right to vote in the upcoming municipal and European elections;
and the joint motion of Citizens and PP for the inclusion of the public forest El Miravete in the Carrascoy Regional Park and El Valle has also been approved unanimously.
