The councilor for Urban Planning, Environment, Water and Kitchen Garden, Antonio Navarro, has reiterated that 'the Government Team is demonstrating its absolute involvement in the promotion of the bicycle and if the PSOE says otherwise, it is wrong'.
Navarro has appealed to 'the facts, rather than the words', because there is more to observe the construction of the network of bike lanes that is running according to the approved projects and the consensus reached in the Observatory of the Bicycle .
"It is curious that Enrique Ayuso complains, when we are facing the great commitment of the City of Murcia, which is making in the field of bicycle integration in the city connecting all areas of the municipality," said the councilman.
Regarding the rental service, Navarro explained that "the bike rental company defends its legitimate interests and the City does the same to pursue the general interest, prioritizing public service."
Meanwhile, the socialist councilor, 'showing signs of its contradiction, at the same time accuses the City Council of indolence and the company's malfunctioning of the service, a circumstance that has led to the opening of files', insists Navarro.
Regarding advertising on public roads, the matter is pending a favorable report by the competent council.
Antonio Navarro concludes insisting that 'our commitment to sustainable mobility is unquestionable and the PSOE has the opportunity to also demonstrate their commitment by working together because Murcia is a friendlier city.'
