A cover has been installed that protects it from rain and high temperatures, which increases hours of use.
In addition, it has been equipped with a play area for the little ones with four pre-mini baskets, for the training of the youngest categories.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the councilor of Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, inaugurate this afternoon the basketball court of the Infante Sports Pavilion that have been renovated and equipped with a cover that protects it from rain and high temperatures.
It is an outdoor track, inside the Infante sports complex, located next to the pavilion, which has been provided with shade with a modern cover.
Work has also been carried out on the surface of the runway, to make the most of the dimensions of the covered space, in addition to painting both the play area and the two benches for the public.
Another improvement has been the placement of a separation network with the lateral space of the Infante indoor pool, which prevents the balls from leaving.
Finally, with the expansion of the available space up to the wall of the pavilion, four small baskets (pre-mini) have been placed, which allow the lateral use for both training and matches for the smallest.
Last Friday, the first games of the category "Benjamín Men" and "Benjamín Feminino" were held.
The direct beneficiaries are the AD INFANTE club players who have already been using this space, which now allows greater versatility, increased hours of use and greater comfort.
