Lady Guitar with Enclave Woman (23/11/2018)

With this proposal, Lady Guitar joins the Municipal Auditorium of Murcia to give visibility to the work carried out by the young authors and to invite reflection on the role that women have played throughout the history of music.

The Murcian authors Carmen Miñarro, María Mulero, Eli Poveda and She Robin (Esther Molina and Patricia Riquelme) will offer a weekend of music, emotion and female talent in the auditoriums of Beniaján and Guadalupe starting at 9:00 p.m., within the Enclave Festival Woman, organized by Municipal Auditoriums of Murcia.

Lady Guitar, as she has done on previous occasions with these and other authors, continues to support and give visibility to the work of Murcian music, contributing to promote real and effective equality of rights and opportunities between men and women, specifically in the music industry

This collaboration with the Culture Service of the City of Murcia and the Municipal Auditoriums is part of the Festival Enclave Woman, which encouraged by the initiative of Lady Guitar, has expanded its content with more musical activities that invite reflection on the role that the woman has had throughout the history of music.

The Enclave Woman festival will be held from Tuesday 27 until the weekend concerts, closing on Saturday, December 1, at 9:00 pm at the Auditorium of Guadalupe, where we can attend a musical meeting full of surprises.

The price for the concerts is € 4 and can be purchased online and at the ticket office of the auditoriums on the day of the concert.

CONCERT PROGRAM "LADY GUITAR AUTHORS":

Friday, November 30: Bonica and María Mulero

Saturday December 1: Eli Poveda and She Robin

MARÃA MULERO

He started his musical career in 2010 as a self-taught singer, guitarist and composer.

Since then he has formed musically in his different projects, highlighting "Mares", "Cuatro Caminos" and "LCD Funk".

Being always active, there are few places in the Region of Murcia where you have not heard his voice, which continues to polish with his studies of jazz and lyrical singing.

She is currently preparing her role as María Magdalena at the Ópera-Rock Jesucristo Superstar, which will be released in November this year, a work that she combines with the recording of her latest compositions that she will give us at the Beniaján Auditorium.

BONICA (CARMEN MIÑARRO)

Cantautora de Lorca, Murcia, artistically known as "Bonica".

He published his first album (self-published and composed entirely by her), Flores en los balcones just one year ago.

A disc that we can frame within the song of author and in which we find dyes of different styles: pop, bossa, reggie, etc.

Carmen Miñarro, in addition to composing songs for her own musical project, has composed songs for other classmates in Spanish, English and Italian.

As a remarkable experience, in 2013 he had the opportunity to share the stage with Coque Malla, singing with him in his concert at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium, his song "Lo tenta".

ELI POVEDA

The young author Eli Poveda is a versatile artist: While touring the province offering recitals and concerts, and collaborating in festivals, concerts and some joint recitals, she studies Fine Arts at the University of Murcia.

The year 2016 won the first prize of the 1st edition of the singer-songwriters contest 'Al cantar la aurora' held in Murcia, February (2016).

The same year was also awarded the First Prize in the modality of 'Song of the Author' of the contest CreaMurcia.

Mostly his compositions have been nurtured by singer-songwriters, although he has influences from many styles of music which makes his songs are characterized by live melodies and rich in changes of rhythms, thus creating a quite personal musical language.

Eli Poveda says that music is born where it was born, when it was born and in the way in which it is willing to be born, it does not impose barriers on it.

SHE ROBIN

She Robin is a young Murcian duo composed by Esther Toledo and Patricia Riquelme.

The philosophy of his music is to mix his best references, indipop through country rock with a personal touch.

Accompanied by a guitar and two voices, they create their own melodies, with their own songs in both English and Spanish that describe them, both to them and to the society that surrounds them.

His training in the university choir of the UMU can be seen in the synergy of these two singers and composers, to whom surely a promising future awaits them.
