The Governing Board has given the green light to the granting of the subsidy to the Federation of Centers for the Elderly, for an amount of 24,555 euros, for the development of various activities of a cultural, recreational and recreational nature.
The programming of activities of the Federation of Social Centers for the Elderly includes a total of 7 projects of activities: election of the queen of the elders, float and parade in the Bando de la Huerta, Championship of Typical Murcian Games and Table, VII Exhibition of Painting, tribute to the oldest grandparents of the social centers of elders and finally, the edition of the magazine about the centers 'We ask for the word'.
The projects are developed throughout the year and is expected to involve more than 1,600 seniors, members and partners of the 76 social centers.
On the other hand, the City Council allocates 3,500 euros to the elderly social center of Espinardo to carry out the annual program of activities.
In the line of collaboration and promotion of the activities carried out by the associations of the Social Centers for the Elderly of the City of Murcia, an economic allocation is granted annually in the form of a grant for the realization of its annual program of activities.
In this case it has been assigned to the social center for elderly people of Espinardo, for an amount of 3,500 euros.
