The University of Murcia expresses its rejection of gender violence through a large painting mural (23/11/2018)

The University Social Center will place this Monday, November 26, a mural for anyone in the university community who wishes to express their rejection of gender violence through painting.

Participation can be made from 13 to 18 hours.

For the realization of the mural the slogan "Put a 0 to the gender violence" of Marcos Antón Renart, winner of the First Contest of Tuits against Gender Violence, will be used.

The phrase will be embodied in a huge canvas thanks to the coordination and the help of the artist Olga Garre.

In addition, there will be a poetry recital by the hand of Isabelle García Molina, director of the Poetry Classroom of the UMU, and the writer Fernando Abad López.

There will be live music with the University Choir and a corner of children's painting.

Finally, there will be an exhibition of tango and a workshop to dance in favor of communication between women and men in charge of the School of Tango and Dance Cristina Cortés.
