The families are taking charge of the transfers before the suppression of the service
The spokesman of the municipal group of Cambiemos Murcia, Nacho Tornel, has presented a motion to the plenary next Thursday for the City Council to negotiate with the Autonomous Community the provision and subsidy of a bus to transfer students Nicolás Raya school in Sangonera la Green, to Delgado Dorrego, where they receive the dining service.
Tornel explained that the bus that took students from the first center -where there is no dining room- to the second one has stopped offering the service, which has harmed the 40 students who used it, of whom 17 have a scholarship -food, and it has had to be the families who take charge of the transfer.
The mayor has indicated that the Consistory must mediate so that the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, which is owned Adela Martínez-Cachá, solve this situation, and even request the collaboration of the municipal board in the expense of this transport to families that do not have the necessary economic resources.
The municipal training has insisted that the most viable option in the medium term is to create a dining room in the Nicolás Raya school, thus avoiding the overcrowding of children in the dining room of Delgado Dorrego, where two and three shifts are daily made to eat, and opening so this service in a public school.
