From the University of Murcia to Silicon Valley to train and compete in the final of the Explorer X awards for entrepreneurs (21/11/2018)

Adrián Rodríguez, a graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Murcia, will participate this Friday in the national final of the Explorer X program, which Banco Santander finances to promote the business ideas of young Spaniards between 18 and 31 years old.

Adrián was the winner last year of the Explorer University of Murcia 2018 contest thanks to the start up Dr. Brand, of which he is co-founder with Juan José Vidal.

One of the prizes to win this contest at the University is a training stay in Silicon Valley, California (USA), where they are now.

The project that earned them recognition is the development of a brand design studio that introduces state-of-the-art artificial intelligence to revolutionize the graphic design and advertising market.

Dr. Brand will implement an algorithm that analyzes tastes and trends to offer a global branding solution (brand management) to any company or entrepreneur at an affordable price.

This Friday, Adrián and Juan José will travel to Madrid to attend the grand final, where they will be eligible for the Explorer 2018 prizes that will be made public at the 2018 Explorer Explorer Gala in Boadilla del Monte.

The Vice Chancellor for Employment Entrepreneurship and Society, Alicia Rubio, will be at this gala, accompanied by the coordinators of the Explorer University of Murcia 2018 and 2019.

The inscriptions for the Explorer Space of the University of Murcia 2019 are already open for young people between 18 and 31 years, whether or not university students, who have an innovative idea to undertake.

Getting into the program means accessing 5 months of training and personalized advice from expert professionals to guide them in the development and implementation of their business idea.

Those who win in the Explorer spaces of participating universities are rewarded for their stay in Silicon Valley and participate in the national final to qualify for one of the three main prizes, with an amount of 30,000, 20,000 and 10,000 euros.
