The Governing Board has today adopted an agreement much awaited by the residents of Sangonera La Verde, as is the need to have the necessary land for the extension of the parish cemetery of the district.
The decision taken has been the desafectación of two plots, which add an area of ​​4,301 square meters, to qualify as assets and their subsequent transfer to the Bishopric.
The file, promoted by the Department of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, directed by Rafael Gómez, will be submitted to public information for a period of one month and, if after this time no claim is received, the disaffiliation will be considered definitively approved. , then the procedure of gratuitous cession to the Bishopric can begin.
This document will be submitted to public information for 20 days, and at the end it will be understood as definitively granted.
It is thus fulfilled a demand reiterated both by the residents of Sangonera la Verde and its Municipal Board and the Bishopric of Cartagena, which had requested the City Council the provision of land adjacent to the cemetery for expansion, in order to to satisfy the need to be able to continue to bury deceased people in the district.
