Statement by Mauricio García de la Vega (15/11/2018)

I would like to publicly acknowledge the admiration I feel for the fans of Real Murcia, given the active role that a part of Murcia society has been demonstrating in recent days in order to help solve the delicate situation that crosses the oldest football club region of.

In this sense, and in view of the meeting that met on Wednesday with companies and stakeholders to encourage them to participate in the current process of capital increase, both my team and I regret that they are not reporting correctly to those who want to help the club .

And is to pretend to involve someone in this project and convince you to buy shares, we must warn you in advance of the risks involved, because this process has been challenged before the courts and will not be valid as soon as this challenge is resolved .

We consider it important to point out that we are not opposed to a capital increase.

But we do oppose this.

It is worth remembering that the current capital increase was initiated by the Gálvez family despite the fact that a large part of the social mass of Real Murcia was opposed to it.

What the current Board of Directors is doing is giving a letter of continuity to a process that is already vitiated.

We must raise it again without risk to anyone.

Similarly, we do not want this to be interpreted as an attack on the current Board of Directors or the good faith of all those who show their support for Real Murcia, who only want what we all want: to put an end to a complicated situation, derived from the mismanagement by torturing businessmen that we all know, and paddling in the same direction in order that stability allows us to focus on an exciting sporting project and that gives us wings for the much desired rise.

Nobody puts that in doubt.

However, we can not help but notice that the distrust generated by the previous managers is placing restrictions on those who have no relationship with the current crisis situation and can, on the contrary, offer a solution immediately.

In this case, the TAS award confirms that the company Iconos Nacionales, owned by Mauricio García de la Vega, owns 84% of the shares of the Real Murcia Club de Fútbol, SAD, and that he not only has the financial support for to contribute one million euros at the start once their actions are registered and the club presides, but also with an attractive business and sports project.

Only the will of the parties and the shared commitment to help Real Murcia as much as possible are necessary.
