The University of Murcia has delivered diplomas and checks of the Rural and Sociosanitary Scholarships program 2017/2018 on Tuesday thanks to which 84 students of socio-health careers spent the summer doing paid internships in health centers, hospitals and veterinary clinics of the Region of Murcia.
Alicia Rubio, vice-chancellor of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society, thanked the young people during the ceremony, who decided to invest their vacations in training.
Especially he has had a memory for the tutors of the centers, "who are the ones who have received you, have taught you and have accompanied you to train you and make you feel like professionals".
The program of Rural and Sociosanitarias Scholarships is supported by the University of Murcia with an endowment of 42,000 euros.
The intention of the rectoral team is to expand this amount to be able to extend in successive courses the number of students who benefit from them.
