The Campus of the Jerónimos will host tomorrow Friday the III European Days of Vocational Training
The Higher Institute of Professional Training San Antonio, located in the Campus of the Jerónimos, offers a wide number of areas to specialize: administration, health, education, languages, computing, sports and communication.
The students have professional work facilities such as the radio and television studio, the MAC room, the laboratories or the UCAM Sports Center, among others.
It should be noted that the San Antonio Higher Education Institute gives the possibility to its students to obtain a double degree.
In the same way, the student has the opportunity to do an Erasmus in the last course and to develop the internship period abroad.
These stays outside of Spain suppose an added value for the student, who can combine his practical training with the learning of a language.
Given the great commitment that the UCAM has with Vocational Training, this Friday morning will host the III European Day of Vocational Training.
The event is framed in the European Week of Vocational Training and is an initiative of the European Commission, which is celebrated on a European and national scale.
Among the activities that will be carried out, "Meet me" stands out, whose objective will be to publicize the FP studies through informal interviews conducted by the students themselves.
"Reality and cliché" that will dismantle the prejudices about FP and "Form your way" a round table about the business future of Vocational Training.
It should be noted that, as a novelty for this course, the aforementioned institute has implemented the Vocational Training Cycle of Higher Technical Oral Hygiene to be taught in Murcia and the titles of Vocational Training in 'Emergencies and Civil Protection' and ' Underwater and Hyperbaric Operations', which will be offered at the Campus of Cartagena.
The UCAM has 15 Higher Vocational Training degrees, 2 intermediate Vocational Training degrees in Cartagena and 16 sports qualifications.
