The PSOE criticizes the "unfortunate" treatment of high school students who see a crowded bus passing by which leaves them on land for more than half an hour (07/11/2018)

Hernández, who accompanied the students together with the pedáneo mayor of Javalí Viejo and the socialist representative in La Ă‘ora, affirms that "this situation is more typical of a backward and impoverished area than of a municipality that aspires to be a smart city model"

The socialist spokesperson, who has already asked for a solution and will present a motion to the next plenary session, declares that "this is the real Murcia we have, a contrasting image to the one that Ballesta Mayor photographs and exhibits"

The Socialist Municipal Group has accompanied half a hundred students from the IES José Planes High School, from Espinardo, to their destinations in Guadalupe, La Ă‘ora and Javalí Viejo, where they eat one hour after leaving the center, which is far from the center. their homes about 3.5 kilometers.

"This is the real image of our municipality, that of dozens of students who, after receiving classes all morning, want to take a bus that will take them to their homes in the best conditions, in an agile and cheap way, and not meet with a transport that does not open the doors because it arrives at the crowded stop, so they have to wait more than half an hour until they pick one up, "explains the socialist spokeswoman, Susana Hernández.

In addition, he points out, it is a bus that with the student card costs 0.85 € per trip.

"The rest of travelers, without this card, pay 1.85 € per trip and, of course, the service is painful, not only because of the crowds, because they have to stand when they find a space, but also because they wait at a stop next to the race and the weather, cold or hot, in fact, they take refuge under a tree when it rains. "

Hernandez said that "this unfortunate situation seems more typical of a backward and impoverished area than a municipality that aspires to be a smart city model", adding that "we have thousands of neighbors who do not have the quality of life that any City Council must provide, an image opposed to the one that photographs and exposes the mayor Ballesta ".

The councilor, who accompanied the students together with the pedáneo mayor of Javalí Viejo, José Francisco Navarro, and the socialist representative in the Ă‘ora Francisco Gil, has indicated that "being students of non-compulsory education the Ministry of Education does not provide the center of bus service, as it does with secondary students, while the PP, once again, is not worried although the person in charge of Transportation is aware of the situation since I informed him on October 18 and I also asked him for a Meeting with these students The only response is that it is not easy to solve because a reinforcement of the line costs money, an absolutely sterile response since you can not avoid responsibility with citizens, alluding to economic reasons. "

Hernandez has announced that he will continue to insist and that he will present a motion to the next Plenary.

On the other hand, the socialist representatives of the affected districts have indicated that this situation affects the coexistence of the neighbors, because sometimes there has been a row between people who go to work and students who want to get on the bus even if it is already saturated.

In addition, denounce the jam of private vehicles of parents of students around the institute, which prevent the maneuvers of buses waiting for ESO students and criticize that this course has the Local Police service that existed last year.
