28 correspondents will act as mediators between the City Council and the educational centers to inform young people.

The scholarships of correspondents of the information points of the educational centers of the municipality have been granted for an amount of 11,200 euros.

The PIJ are part of the project of decentralization and participation of Informajoven, which pursues a double objective, on the one hand, to bring the information that this municipal service develops to the places where the youth population is concentrated and, on the other, to gather the information of its environment about the activities that are organized by or for young people.

The 28 correspondents will be installed in the institutes themselves: Alfonso X, Aljada, Alquibla, Alquerías, Beniaján, El Carmen, Floridablanca, Francisco Sabater, Infante Don Juan Manuel, Engineer Juan de la Cierva, José Planes, Juan Carlos I, La Flota, Mariano Baquero, Miguel Cervantes (morning and evening), Miguel Espinosa, Poet Sánchez Bautista, Ramón y Cajal, Sierra de Carrascoy, School of Art and Language School.

These are specific information spaces, installed by the City Council in the young people's socialization centers (secondary schools and artistic, language and vocational training centers) and, for their attention, it is intended to have the voluntary collaboration of correspondents of the environment in which they are located.

With this initiative, the City Council's goal is to encourage young Murcians to acquire a good level of information, in addition to walking towards equal opportunities.

Students who voluntarily perform their work as a correspondent, receive, as consideration, a grant of 400 euros.

The requirements to be a correspondent are:

- To be students of the first year of the baccalaureate or the first year of the intermediate-level training cycle, or of the first courses of the studies of higher degree in artistic education and the School of Languages.

- Being born between January 1, 1999 and December 31, 2002.

- Submit a request for participation in the call in the Secretariat of your school, addressed to the Director of the center.

- Subscribe, if selected, the commitment of the tasks to be performed and the knowledge of the measures established in case of non-compliance.

- Be enrolled in the center of which they wish to be correspondents.

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 days from the day following the publication of the extract in the BORM.
