"Between Murcia and Orihuela" is the title with which Miguel Mellado inaugurates his artistic exhibition in the Arquitectura de Barrio room this Friday at 7:30 p.m.
C / Juliá n Calvo 6, Murcia
The exhibition consists of 20 works, of small and large format, made in mixed technique, composed mainly of collage, oil and acrylic.
This series of works are characterized by reflecting the reality of the different places of Murcia and Orihuela that have been found in the artist as a source of inspiration.
Each of these pieces expresses his most intimate and emotional self as an artist.
Where the sensations lived in each of these corners has been reflected in the strokes of the brush.
Miguel Melllado is a painter with a unique style, which is reflected in the combination of colors, textures, materials, in the layout of his lines and in perspectives that are sometimes provoked, showing the urban world where this work was born.
An artist who finds his subject by observing the urban world that surrounds him.
The consequence of all this is that each of the paintings, although it contains a state of mind or emotions different from a lived moment, is recognized as a unique style.
Each painting frames an own, unique creation, the feeling of what is perceived together with the expressive freedom with the sole purpose of transmitting its vision of these cities united by history and the thread of the Segura river.
"Although with my own style, I'm still looking for new lines of work, new formulas of artistic expression that convey what I carry inside.
A continuous evolution that does not stop and that is enriched by time and with the places that I am discovering ", the painter highlighted during the inauguration.
The artist from Murcia has several solo exhibitions and has participated in many other group exhibitions.
It also has more than a hundred awards at national level of painting and his work is present in private collections, as well as in official bodies and museums.
The works of Miguel Mellado will be able to be contemplated until the 5th of December.
Visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
