The PSOE criticizes the Department of Sports that "throw balls out" and do not invest in the adaptation of municipal facilities (15/10/2018)

The socialist mayor Juan Vicente Larrosa blamed councilman Felipe Coello for "lack of foresight and an act of negligence" and makes him worthy of "several technical and some disqualifying faults" and also criticizes José Ballesta, "who is on the way to becoming, if it is not already, in the blockade mayor "

Many of the sports facilities that are in Murcia, especially in districts, and which are municipal property have serious deficiencies, which pay the thousands of users who use them daily and is so for the lack of investment in these facilities by of the Department of Sports directed by Felipe Coello.

"It is enough to approach the fields and the pavilions of the municipality to realize that they are far from being enclosures according to what is expected of them in the XXI century in which we are and some seem more typical of the past," says Larrosa , who contributes several examples of what counts: "Neither the Sangonera la Seca and Sangonera la Verde locker rooms have been built, nor have they worked on the soccer fields of Los Ramos and San José de la Vega, nor has the air conditioning of the Murcia Park pool ".

In particular on this last, the socialist mayor recalls that Coello said in the September plenary session that the pool can not be covered because they do not know where they can place the machinery for heating the water given the proximity of the Paseo del Malecón, a protected environment to be considered of Cultural Interest (BIC).

"How is this action budgeted knowing that there are studies since the beginning of this term that advise against covering the pool, as recognized by the councilor of Sports?", Asks Larrosa.

"It is one more example of the lack of foresight and an act of negligence," says the mayor of the PSOE, who puts on the table a fact: only actions have been carried out amounting to half a million euros of the four included in the Chapter VI of investments for sports facilities during the last two years.

The Municipal Socialist Group emphasizes that the abandonment is alarming in the case of the districts.

Broken markers, networks of deteriorated and non-replenished goals, leaks in many of the pavilions, bleachers in poor condition, enclosures on football fields that have not been conditioned ... "Given this, Coello's response is that they have to repair them the municipal boards with the extraordinary 14 million euros that the PSOE managed to start for districts in the 2017 budget ", answers Larrosa.

"It is a way of throwing balls out and we should tell the councilman several technical faults and even some disqualifying for not taking their responsibilities and protest instead of solving the problems that affect the users of these facilities," he assures at the same time also to José Ballesta, "who is on his way to becoming, if not already, the mayor of the blockade".
