The Ballroom of the Casino, the Palmeral or the Rue de la Ă‘ora will host a novel cycle of concerts by Murcian groups (11/10/2018)

The City of Murcia launches this new project of six concerts in unique spaces of the municipality of Murcia

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, presented this morning a new cultural project that consists of organizing a series of concerts in unique and emblematic areas of the municipality.

Pacheco said that "what we intend with this new cycle is to bring Murcia to know these spaces so emblematic of the municipality and you can enjoy a different cultural experience in them, showing Murcia's talent."

The concerts will be held until November in such symbolic places of Murcia as the Palm Grove of Santiago and Zaraiche, the wheel of the Ă‘ora, the Bethlehem Museum in Bacons Bridge, the Ballroom of the Real Casino of Murcia or the hermitage of San Antonio the Poor in Santo Ángel.

It will be accessed by invitation until full capacity is reached and invitations may be withdrawn in the indicated places.

In the case of the concert to be held in the garden of El Palmeral, you can retire at the Cultural Center of Santiago and Zaraiche, in the Plaza Santiago Apóstol, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm, between October 15 and 18. .

And for the concert at the Hermitage of San Antonio el Pobre, they can retire at the Romea Theater box office from 11 a.m. to 13.30 and from 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., between November 21 and 23.

"It is a way to enjoy iconic places of Murcia and our districts, from the City of Murcia we work every day to create a different cultural offer for Murcia and visitors to participate and feel proud of the heritage and talent Murcia, so we invite everyone to attend and enjoy this cultural cycle, "adds Pacheco.

This cycle will begin on Sunday, October 21 at 6:00 pm in the Palmeral with World Percussion Cuartet and will end on Sunday, November 25 at 12:00 in the Hermitage of San Antonio el Pobre with a guitar concert by José Antonio Aarnoutse.

The groups that will participate in this cycle of concerts, in addition to the previous statements, are Baboom Blues County, María Bastida Abril, young interpreters of the Conservatory of Murcia and a tribute to the Lyrae ensemble harp.

"This new initiative allows us to enjoy these spaces with activities in a transversal way, so we include performances from other programs such as Young Soloists that we also carry out from the council that I lead, taking that art and talent to different points of Murcia", concludes Jesús Pacheco.
