Twelve artists seek their place in the final of CreaMurcia in the modality of Author Song (26/09/2018)

The False Door welcomes from tomorrow and until Saturday, the semifinals of Song of Author of the CreaMurcia Contest.

Twelve artists and groups will seek a place in the final that will take place at the Teatro Circo on October 18.

68 songwriters began months ago the road to the final of the CreaMurcia Contest in its category of Author Song.

Now twelve of them are at the gates, since on September 27, 28 and 29, the final pass will be played at the False Gate starting at 9:30 p.m.

Specifically on Thursday will act Lydia Martin, Laura Uve, Picturepoems and Mario Antonio Picón.

Friday is the turn of Ms Mala Cotton, Jalisco, Epitafio and Crimson.

The guest artist is Iranzo, winner of the Gota Music and the Inicia Grant, as well as finalist in Eurovision.

This singer-songwriter, guest of the city of Logroño, fruit of the project 'Weaving Networks' led by the municipalities of Murcia and Logroño, in order to promote the exchange of artists between Spanish cities.

The closing will take place on Saturday and will be borne by Fidel Lopez, Carmen La Canija, Dani Serrano and M & H.

As a guest, Sthela, winner of the first prize of the Lanzadera in the 2017 music modality, will perform.

The prizes are 1,500 euros for the winner, 800 euros for the second place and 500 euros for the third place.

In addition, the use of rehearsal venues will be facilitated to the selected groups, a CD will be edited that will compile the themes of the awarded groups and, in addition, they will have the opportunity to perform in the festivals or events that take place in the municipality of Murcia, as Lemon Pop, Big-up, Repanocha, #Murciasemueve or Christmas Rock.

The participation of the groups in the main festivals or events will also be promoted, both at the regional, national and international levels.

For this discipline, the jury will be formed by the Councilor for Youth, Rebeca Pérez, who will be accompanied by Joaquín Guillén, Marla Sánchez, Jass, Xuso Jones and Juan Albaladejo, as secretary.

Of the twelve participants, three singer-songwriters will go to the final, which will take place on October 18 at Teatro Circo and will feature Marwan as a guest artist (more information on web theater Circus).
